Indeed, set between heathland and sea-cliffs, this superb 18-hole course (Par 72, 5836m), designed by Alain PRAT in 1992, offers magnificent views along the jagged coast of Northern Brittany. Enjoy a truly invigorating walk among the scent of wild broom and the sea along its 6052m of fairway overlooking the English Channel and the beach.

According to Golf Européen (France’s leading golf magazine), Pleneuf Val Andre is one of France’s top courses for its spectacular setting and the character and challenging nature of its seaside holes. It`s also ranked among the most beautiful golf courses in Europe (US Golf Magazine, Peugeot Guide), especially because of its 11^th hole. Despite all these high recognitions players of all levels can enjoy the course.

• Relax on one of the three beaches.
• Discover the heritage of the town through three guided tours: the maritime past of the Dahouet’s harbor; the Val André and its seaside heritage or Pleneuf’s history.
• Visit the Bienassis Castle (monument dating back from the 15^th and 17^th century); the maritime heritage’s workshop and Harbarius, a medieval garden or the Labyrinth of Malido.
• Food lovers will enjoy visiting the Vaumadeuc’s farm, with its traditional cheese diary. You can also watch the milking process. Others might prefer to visit the cider factory.
• Birds’ lovers will discover the ‘Ilot du Verdlet’, a nature reserve for sea birds since 1973. It is one of the few nesting grounds for great cormorants. The bird reserve features mainly nesting populations but other species use the area around the island for feeding, resting or sheltering in winter.
