What can I do nearby?
Visit the Chateau d’Azay-le-Rideau.
Built on an island in the middle of the Indre River, among greenery, the chateau has been edified in the 16th century. This chateau is a real success from the Renaissance architecture. The apartments are furnished and decorated with a beautiful collection of Flemish and French tapestries of the 16th and 17th century.
Villandry
The famous Villandry’s gardens surrounds, as in a jewel case, one of the last grand chateaux built on the Loire River borders during the Renaissance period (1536).
Wander around one of the most beautiful gardens in France, designed on three levels: water garden, ornamental garden (love’s garden, music’s garden and simples’ garden) and a ornamental vegetal garden laid on more than 12500 m2, forming a real multicolor draughtboard with its nine squares of vegetables and fruit trees planted geometrically.
Chenonceau’s Chateau
Built in the 16th century, it appears as one of the French Renaissance’s masterpiece.
